A separate, disconnected, section of the RhB was the line from Bellinzona to Mesocco. This line was originally intended to join the rest of the RhB at Thusis, but was never completed, and was later truncated to run between Castione and Cama. The Italian influence in the part of Switzerland can clearly be seen at Cama station.
